2019: A transformational year for GuildLink

As we approach the festive season, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support this year. In my first year as CEO, my key focus has been the transformation of GuildLink, namely improving our operational growth and efficiency.

Throughout 2019, a wealth of new talent at GuildLink has reinvigorated and driven change across the organisation. This new level of energy and focus has delivered a number of new and enhanced GuildCare NG and myPharmacyLink features in record time.

Our enhanced product strategy has helped drive revenue and maximise profitability, we integrated the PPA Portal into GuildCare NG to make 6CPA claiming easier and provided pharmacies with the ability to promote professional services through myPharmacyLink.

To increase the level of healthcare support provided to patients, not only did we deliver a corporate vaccination program in Queensland; we twice delivered changes to our vaccination program within 24 hours of state-based legislative change.

To help drive digital customer engagement, we expanded the range of features available in myPharmacyLink. Our Carers mode allows carers and pharmacists the ability to better support Dependants, and patients living with diabetes can now order their NDSS products at the same time when placing an order for a script. myPharmacyLink is your free digital key to engaging with patients and customers in the lead up to the national introduction of electronic prescriptions.

Over the next five years, our industry is set to experience a truly transformational shift. The start of this transformation began with the introduction of My Health Record and will continue through the implementation of electronic prescriptions, an updated QCPP framework, the imminent 7CPA and the CP2025 Framework for Change.

Looking towards 2020 and beyond, we are committed and ready to help guide you on the digital transformation journey ahead.
