GuildLink is proud to invite all attendees to Stand 302-307 at APP 2020 to preview its electronic prescriptions solution aimed at making it easier for patients to order their electronic prescriptions via the free patient-facing myPharmacyLink app at their local pharmacy.
At the GuildLink stand, pharmacists can learn how to prepare for electronic prescriptions, as well as hear about new GuildCare NG and myPharmacyLink features and improvements.
“We understand that pharmacists are seeking greater clarity as to how electronic prescriptions will work in regards to the electronic token and active script list model. To help alleviate some of this confusion, we are very proud to be able to provide pharmacy colleagues with a preview of our electronic prescriptions solution at APP,” said GuildLink CEO Arun Sharma, “We encourage attendees to visit our stand (302-307) to see and understand how we will be automating electronic prescriptions through our free patient-facing app myPharmacyLink.”
In helping pharmacies prepare for electronic prescriptions, GuildLink CEO Arun Sharma said:
“This year marks the first step in the digital transformation journey ahead for pharmacies. While the patient-led use of electronic prescriptions may be some time away, now is the time for pharmacies to review their data management workflows and become more digitally ready. During this period of electronic prescriptions preparation, we recommend pharmacies focus on the following:
- Improving patient data quality and management processes
“Improving data quality and management is key in this window ahead of electronic prescriptions. As well as ensuring all patient-identifying data is correct, it is crucial that each patient profile includes a correct patient mobile phone number and email address.”
- Increasing digital patient engagement and brand awareness
“The business baseline of what patients and customers are digitally expecting from healthcare providers is constantly increasing. Pharmacies need to have the means of directly and digitally engaging and communicating with their patients. We provide pharmacies using GuildCare NG with the free patient-facing app myPharmacyLink to help ensure their patients engage directly with their pharmacy. Pharmacies can personalise the app with their pharmacy’s logo and brand to help increase digital patient engagement and brand awareness directly with their pharmacy.
- Increase your digital service offering
“When reviewing your current state of digital readiness, are you providing your patients and customers with access to an app? Are you actively signing them up to your app? Does your pharmacy have a website? These are essential business elements you should be considering now.”
- Review your pharmacy’s level of technology investment
“We discovered over 85% of pharmacies engaging with our technologies are currently using quite old website browsers and have very varying levels of hardware and software investment. We encourage pharmacies to review their current levels of technology investment to ensure they are able to process electronic prescriptions and to digitally communicate with their patients.”
