GuildLink is proud to launch to two new business-focused features for its free patient-facing app, myPharmacyLink – myPharmacy Services and myPharmacy Team. The two new features provide pharmacies with the ability to promote Professional Services and introduce their pharmacy team to help increase customer engagement.
“GuildLink is committed to providing pharmacies across Australia with the tools they need to drive business and help guide them on the digital transformation journey ahead,” said GuildLink CEO Arun Sharma, “With the introduction of electronic prescriptions next year, it is crucial that pharmacies make efforts now to improve their digital engagement with patients and customers – so when electronic prescriptions do come online, they have already built the digital foundations on which to continue their trusted relationship.

Through GuildCare NG, pharmacies are able to select which Professional Services they would like to promote within the myPharmacyLink app to their patients and customers.
Each Professional Service option is supported by a pre-set description and image; allowing pharmacies to simply click and select the services they wish to promote. Within the new feature, pharmacies are also able to set the cost of each service.
Within the app, patients and customers interested in a particular Professional Service simply click to message their chosen pharmacy to organise an appointment for the service.
Once the appointment is undertaken, a record of this service is made available in the View Services History section of myPharmacyLink.
Unique to myPharmacylink and industry, pharmacies using the app are able to upload their pharmacy’s logo and match background colours displayed within the app to best represent their brand.
“We are here to best support community pharmacy. Being able to display each pharmacy’s logo and brand colours within myPharmacyLink is just one of the many ways we are providing pharmacies with the tools to digitally engage with their patients and customers,” explained Sharma.
The new myPharmacy Team feature increases this level of brand and customer engagement by allowing pharmacies to upload and display a photo of their team on the myPharmacy page (Contact Us) within the app.
“No matter how digital healthcare becomes, patients will always value the personal and trusted relationship they have with their pharmacy,” said Sharma, “Providing a team photo is another way of introducing your team to patients and customers, even before they have entered the pharmacy.”
myPharmacyLink is a free-to-consumer app that allows people to better manage their medicines and pharmacies to provide an increased level of patient care. Patient activity managed through GuildCare NG is available via myPharmacyLink app – providing both patients and pharmacies with the latest information about the health services accessed, about which prescriptions they have available while also providing alerts when prescription refills are required.
