GuildLink provides pharmacy with Home Medications Delivery solution

In support of the Federal Government’s COVID-19 Home Medicines Service, GuildLink launches its Home Medications Delivery solution complete with a pharmacy customer payment platform.

GuildLink is committed to helping pharmacies provide their patients and customers with a complete Home Medications Delivery solution – while also minimising patient contact and time in pharmacy during this intense COVID-19 time.

Using GuildLink’s solution, patients and customers can order their prescriptions and other OTC items via either a pharmacy’s website or through the free patient-facing app myPharmacyLink, and request Home Delivery for the items purchased.

For pharmacies supporting patients with myPharmacyLink, customers will now be able to order, pay and request pharmacy Home Delivery – all within the free patient-facing app.

“With the impact of COVID-19, we have seen a significant increase in demand for Home Medications Delivery services from both sides: from pharmacies wanting to offer independent Home Delivery services and from patients requesting home delivery as an option,” says GuildLink CEO Arun Sharma. “GuildLink is here to support pharmacies and their communities with the digital tools they need to order, pay and deliver via the many options including self-delivery, Australia Post, Kings Group and others.”

GuildLink released its Home Medications Delivery solution in support of the Federal Government’s COVID-19 Home Medicines Service, where pharmacies are able to claim $7.77 per delivery for the home delivery of PBS and RPBS medicines, thereby removing the need for a patient to break self-isolation.

Guild members can activate Home Medications Delivery solution and payment platform for free simply by activating the feature in GuildCare and registering for Pharmacy Click and Collect ; while non-Guild members can email info@pharmacy.com.au to organise access.

Ahead of the payment platform feature of the Home Medications Delivery Solution being made available to patients within the next update of the myPharmacyLink app, GuildLink strongly recommends pharmacies use this time now to:

  1. Set up Pay myPharmacy within GuildCare NG
  2. Activate their Pharmacy Click and Collect portal and enter their bank details for payment
