Update 2: Multiple transactions disallowed

The Project COVID module will only allow one transaction in one day for a Concession Card holder at the same participating community pharmacy. Patients with dependent(s) or carers, will need to ensure that they have their dependent(s) or carers concession card details on them when requesting Rapid Antigen Test products under the CRTCA Program.

Update 3: Transaction History: Pharmacy Name and Postcode Display

The Past Transactions feature will now display the name, postcode and state of pharmacies who have supplied previously. 

Update 1: Blocked from exceeding quota

The Project COVID quota warning message for the quantity being met or exceeded, has now been updated in line with the most recent program rules. 


Staff will be blocked from submitting transactions when a Concession Card holder had exceeded their allowed quota or will exceed their allowed quota.


The COVID-19 Rapid Test Concessional Access (CRTCA) Program allow a supply of up to 20 RATs to eligible patients over the six-month program period with up to 5 RATs in any given month.


For the purposes of the CRTCA Program, the months will be phased as follows:


• Month 1: 24 January 2022 to 28 February 2022

• Month 2: 1 March 2022 to 31 March 2022

• Month 3: 1 April 2022 to 30 April 2022

• Month 4: 1 May 2022 to 31 May 2022

• Month 5: 1 June 2022 to 30 June 2022

• Month 6: 1 July 2022 to 31 July 2022


This means for instance that an eligible patient can receive: 5 RATs in February, March and April then another 5 RATs in May.
