How to brand your app

If you don’t have pharmacy logo guidelines, you can use this as a guide to help you determine your RGB colours for the myPharmacyLink App. A very simple way to do this, is by opening your logo image in the desktop application ‘Paint” and selecting the individual colours you wish to use. Here’s how you can do it:

Step 1: Opening your pharmacy logo in Paint

For Newser Windows Versions ( 2006 onwards )
Press the Windows key, type Paint, and press Enter.

For Older Window Versions ( older than 2006 )

  1. Click the Start button in the lower left-hand corner of the Desktop.
  2. Move your mouse cursor over All Programs, then Accessories, then click Paint.

Once paint it open, click on File > Open > Then select your brand file you wish to open in Paint. You can also Click and drag your logo into paint.

If you don’t have an image file of your logo available, you can press the print screen button on your keyboard to take a screenshot of your logo instead. Once you have pressed the print screen button, all you need to do is paste or press Ctrl-V in Paint. Your screenshot will then be placed in Paint to edit.

Step 2: Selecting your brand colours

Once your logo is open in paint, click on the ‘Colour Picker’ tool, this will allow you to select a specific color from your logo. Note that you can only pick one colour at a time. You will have to select 3 different colours for your myPharmacyLink App.

Step 3: Finding out the RGB value of your colours

For Newser Windows Versions ( 2006 onwards )
Once you have a colour selected, click the ‘Edit Colours’ button.

For Older Windows Versions ( older than 2006 )
Once you have a colour selected, click Colours in the top menu, and click ‘Edit Colours’.

The Edit colours window should then appear with RGB values in the bottom right side. If your Edit Colors window doesn’t show  RGB values, please click on the “Define Custom Colors” button. Write down the 3 number Values for RGB so you can then insert these values into the myPharmacyLink theme editor in GuildCare NG.
